EOG technology generates high-purity ozone using only water and electricity. It delivers more ozone with less energy and far higher purity than the corona discharge method, while avoiding the limitations of the ultraviolet light method.

The corona discharge method imitates how ozone is created in the atmosphere by passing air through a high-voltage electrical field. It requires significant electrical energy and cooling systems, and the dry air feed can also produce unwanted nitrogen oxides.

A UV lamp is placed in a chamber where air or oxygen passes over it. UV light splits oxygen molecules to form ozone, but output concentration is low and the lamp must be replaced regularly.

Corona-discharge systems rely on a clean, dry air or oxygen feed, so air quality must be treated and monitored. Because the EOG generates ozone from water through electrolysis, its performance is unaffected by air quality or humidity — no air treatment is needed.
The EOG dissolves ozone directly into water (aqueous ozone), which is safe to use indoors and reverts to oxygen after sanitizing. It produces no toxic NOx by-products, and ozone-gas exposure stays well within OSHA limits during normal operation.
